I've been reading a lot about the upcoming lunar events that will be taking place on the night of September 27th. Some of my clients have expressed concerns because they're heard that this signals the end of the world or some other horrible event that's going to happen.
Let me first assure you - this is NOT the end of the world and any world-events that take place will be unrelated to the lunar phenomenon we're going to witness. The super moon in itself is not terribly uncommon. However this particular one is coupled with a lunar eclipse - and it also happens to be the Harvest Moon! These are POSITIVE things! This is the first Super Moon-Lunar Eclipse event since 1982, and the next one will not occur until 2033! So it's.....kind of a big deal! It doesn't matter if you live in a region where you will be unable to see this incredible event. You may be wondering just HOW it might affect you. Well, remember that our bodies are made up of about 60% water. This is a scientific fact. The moon also effects water. Also a scientific fact. In women, the moon can have strange effects on your menstrual cycle and an increase in birth's is often seen around a super moon. For both men and women, the super moon can be a great time to have surgery! One study found that surgical outcomes were much more positive during a super moon. On the downside, during the super moon (and any full moon), in the days before and after it, people tend to have more restless sleep, take longer to fall asleep and get less 'deep sleep' than they normally do.
