My sister and I would like to know if hauntings are real? We think we have a ghost in our house and it's freaking us OUT! Lights flicker on and off, the tv and radio will turn on randomly and there is just a weird presence we both feel. Our parents think we're just being nutty. Maybe we are but what do you think? Yes, hauntings are very real! They are actually quite common. In the majority of cases, hauntings are simply spirits who have not moved on fully, or who have come back to 'visit'. We don't fully understand how the spirit world works. We don't know how or why some spirits return and others do not. What we do know is that it happens!
I am not going to include your orb photo here for privacy reasons, but I will tell the viewers of this blog (and you two) that this orb you captured is not evidence of spirit activity. It's a dust particle that was floating in the air and captured by your camera. Before you get too disappointed, keep reading....
You totally DO have a spirit presence in your home! You're not crazy! While certain things like lights flickering and electronics malfunctioning can certainly be related to faulty wiring, I can tell you that based on the photo I saw of your home, there's definitely a presence there. It's 100% friendly. The 'acting out' that it's doing is just it's way of trying to get your attention. This is a younger male (late teens) who passed away either in the home or on the grounds long, long ago. I feel like this was in the late 1800's to early 1900's. He's just a bit of a prankster and has fun teasing you girls. He likely had younger sisters in his life and he misses being able to tease them in this way. He gets a real kick out of it, so next time he does something, give him a good scream and then giggle your hearts out!
Try not to be freaked out. He means you absolutely no harm!
