I heard that you should wear certain gemstones in jewelry for protection. What kind of gemstones work best?

What you've heard is true! However you have to take a few things into consideration. For example, what exactly are you seeking protection from? If you're seeking protection from overall negativity from other people in your life, try flourite! If you're wanting protection from being hurt by someone you're romantically involved with, try rhodonite. If your problem seems to be spiritual weakness or self-esteem issues, rhyolite or jasper will benefit you. And lastly, if you are finding yourself worried about the general goings on of the world (natural disasters, crime, etc.) then moss agate is a wonderful stone that will help with anxiety and will keep you grounded.
