Since we're getting close to Halloween, I wanted to ask you about witches. Do they exist and are they good or evil?

Hi Jess!
Witches do exist! Probably not so much in the way that you imagine though. Hollywood has a tendency to cast a very poor light upon witches and witchcraft, when the reality is far different. I could go really in depth here and give you a full history of witches, but a simple Google search will give you all the answers you need on that.
However I will address your question about whether witches are good or evil. To put it simply, the answer is that they can be using their methods and castings for good OR evil. Most people who identify as witches are good people. They may use herbs, spell casting and other forms of magic as a way to HELP people or to help themselves life a more meaningful life. This will apply to the vast majority.
Of course there is always a small percentage of people who identify as witches who - in my personal opinion - are not witches by the true definition. They are people who are trying to use spells and other forms of magic for negative or harmful purposes. It's best to stay away from these "witches".
As for me, well....you know I am a spell caster right? I don't really identify myself as a "witch" but I guess by some definitions I probably am. If so, I'm definitely a "good witch". :) All of my spell castings are white magic spells and cause no harm to anyone. You can view a full list of my spell castings here, if you're interested!
